Groundwater Resource Assessment Phase 2, 2005. Recharge depth (mm/a) 1x1km grid. Recharge figures are based on the chloride mass-balance method. It should be noted that the coverage of chloride measurements in rainfall in South Africa is incomplete, and that the method has inherent errors.
